Born and raised in the great state of Michigan, Steve Driver grew up a middle child, listening to and loving rock and roll. He attended elementary and middle school in the Lansing area, eventually graduating from a small town high school in Perry. After high school, he tried several different ‘career’ options while playing drums in a rock band, touring most of the lower 48 in a small van, with eight dudes… not ideal.

When he came to the realization one day that he hadn’t eaten or showered in days, he decided to put down the sticks and actually make something of himself. He decided to go back to school, and enrolled at Specs Howard’s School of Broadcasting. Shortly after graduation, he obtained an entry level position at a local radio station, and the rest is history.

Steve joined our team in May of 2021, and is thrilled to call 103.9 The Fox his home!
